This place is wonderful! I've lived down the street from Mariela's for almost three years now and have tried just about everything on the menu - all of it has been really tasty. To me the standouts are the fried mojarra, the fried chicken, anything with carne asada, and especially THE COSIDO!!! Everything I've had here has been delicious, but the cosido is really incredible. It's also a mountain of food, so bring a friend.
Love the food, I've always gotten good, friendly service, and the prices are really great. Highly recommend. -

I work just down the street from this place and it amazing!! I literally eat here 3 times a week even with everything else to chose to eat around here! Whether I order at the cashier or make a phone order, the food is always hot and amazing! My favorite thing to order are the nachos ! I actually just had them yesterday . The workers are great which makes my over all experience there even better !
Definitely a great place to try! -

Bean and cheese burrito review.
The burrito wasn't horrible, but it lacked flavor. It has whole beans, not refried beans. I asked for green salsa and it was also mediocre. I would not order the bean and cheese burrito from Mariela's Taco unless I had an intense craving and it was the only place open that was close to me. -

Fast, cheap, easy, delicious. Ordered 1 al pastor taco with a side of red sauce and lime. It was $1.25 and the portions were generous and delicious. Good spot to stop for a cheap lunch or dinner on the go.

My family and I went here based on the 4-star rating from fellow Yelpers.
The three taco plate I ordered was pretty good. 6.5 on a scale of 1 to 10. It wasn't anything special, but it was tasty, ingredients appeared to be fresh, and it was priced well ($6.50 for 3 tacos + rice & beans). The restaurant was clean but also kind of cheap looking. The parking lot is small and the spots are ridiculously narrow. Plus people happily park behind the spots, in the place clearly marked "NO PARKING", and this makes getting out difficult. So avoid the stupid parking lot if you can. Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way to go to this place again, but if I were walking nearby, was hungry, and didn't have much money on me then it could make sense.
